رؤية رسالة اهداف قسم الاجتماع

أسس قسم الاجتماع مع تأسيس الكلية عام 2005 م , واستطاع خلال هذه المدة أن يقدم خدماته للعملية التعليمية في الجامعة واستطاع حتى عام 2021 أن يخرج اثنى عشر دفعة استطاع طلبتها أن يكملوا دراساتهم العليا في الجامعات الأخرى .

رؤية

ترمي اقسام علم الاجتماع في العراق الى تحقيق اهداف التعليم الجامعي والتميز العلمي بما ينسجم مع توجهات الدولة العراقية ، فضلا عن دراسة المجتمعات الانسانية من منظور علمي يساعد الطلبة على تأكيد هويتهم ، وفهم مجتمعهم وذلك من طريق مراعاة معايير الجودة والفهم والاتقان في مرحلتي البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا .

الرسالة 
ان رسالة اقسام علم الاجتماع في العراق هي اعداد المتخصصين المؤهلين في مجال الاجتماع والخدمة الاجتماعية والانثروبولوجيا وتزويدهم بالمعارف والمهارات والخبرات المهنية الحديثة المتمثلة في المهارات المعلوماتية والعمل الجماعي والبحث العلمي والاتصال وتوظيفها في مجال الاجتماع والخدمة الاجتماعية والانثروبولوجيا ، فضلا عن توفير القاعدة العلمية التي تحقق الفهم الواعي بقضايا المجتمع ومشكلاته من طريق طرح مقررات او اجراء دراسات في مجلات الحياة الاجتماعية المختلفة نحو علم الاجتماع الثقافي ، وعلم الاجتماع الاقتصادي ، وعلم الاجتماع الديني ، وعلم الاجتماع الجنائي ، والتنمية البشرية ، والسياسة الاجتماعية ، وادارة المؤسسات الاجتماعية ، ورعاية المسنين وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ، والانثروبولوجيا بانواعها المختلف ، السياسية ، والطبية والحضرية وانثروبولوجيا العولمة وغيرها من المجالات المعرفية الاخرى .

الاهداف 

1. رفد المجتماع باخصائيين اجتماعيين في مجالات ( الاجتماع ، الخدمة الاجتماعية ، الانثروبولوجيا ) من اجل الاسهام في عمليات التنمية والنهوض بواقع المجتمع.
2. اعداد باحثين اجتماعيين للعمل في مؤسسات الدولة والانخراط في سوق العمل وتنمية اساليب ومهارات البحث العلمي لديهم وذلك بطرح برامج تدريبية لفروع علم الاجتماع كافة والتي من شأنها الاسهام في عملية بناء المجتمع وتطويره . 
3. رفد اقسام علم الاجتماع في جامعات العراق كافة وفي بعض التخصصات العلمية ذات العلاقة بفروع علم الاجتماع المختلفة بالخبرات العلمية والكفاءات التدريسية المتخصصة . 
4. التفاعل مع جامعات العراقية والعربية والعالمية ومراكز البحوث العلمية وذلك بالاستعانة بالاساتذة الزائرين والمشاركة او حضور المؤتمرات العلمية فضلا عن المساعدة في توفير المشورة والخبرات اللازمة لتحسين عمل مرافق الدولة ذات العلاقة بتخصص علم الاجتماع وفروعه المختلفة للمساهمة في ايجاد الحلول الناجعة للمشكلات او الظواهر الاجتماعية السلبية التي تظهر في المجتمع .
5. مواكبة متطلبات الاعتماد الاكاديمي من قبل المؤسسات العلمية و العالمية من حيث تطوير محتويات المقررات في مجال العلوم الاجتماعية و توفير مصادر المعلومات و المختبرات و تعزيز البحث العلمي فضلا عن تأهيل الطلبة تأهيلآ علميا بحسب متطلبات حاجة المجتمع و سوق العمل .
6. المساهمة في تعزيز الوعي الثقافي لدى افراد المجتمع . وذلك عن طريق الأشتراك في المؤتمرات و الندوات العلمية و الحلقات النقاشية التي تقيمها المؤسسات الأكاديمية او مؤسسات الدولة الأخرى فضلا عن منظمات المجتمع المدذات العلاقة باهتمامات علم الاجتماع بفروعه المختلفة .
7. التعاون التفاعل الايجابي وفق رؤية علمية مدروسة تنسجم و رؤية وزارة التعليم العالي و البحث العلمي و مراكز البحوث و الدراسات بين المؤسسات المجتمعية كافة عن طريق التدريب و إقامة الندوات و المؤتمرات و الفعاليات المشتركة لتقوية الروابط العلمية معهم و المساهمة في عملية التنمية الشاملة .
8. تأهيل و إعداد الخريجين للعمل في وزارات العمل و الشؤون الاجتماعية , التربية , الثقافة . الصحة , الداخلية , العدل , التعليم العالي و البحث العلمي , الشباب , الرياضة , حقوق الانسان , و مراكز الأبحاث الاجتماعية , و الأستراتيجية و التراث الشعبي و المؤسسات الأعلامية و منظمات المجتمع المدني , و الهيئات المستقلة بمختلف مسمياتها .
9. العمل على مواكبة الجانب النظري للجانب الميداني في الدراسات التخصصية في علم الاجتماع و الخدمة الاجتماعية و الأنثروبولوجيا و ذلك بأجراء البحوث و الدراسات الميدانية و تنظيم الندوات و المؤتمرات و الورش العلمية بشأن مسار عملية التنمية في العراق و العالم و النتائج المترتبة على التغير الأجتماعي و الثقافي .

Vision, Message and objectives of the Department of Sociology / College of Arts / University of Wasit

The Vision

            The sociology departments in Iraq aim to achieve the objectives of university education and scientific excellence in line with the Iraqi state’s orientations, as well as the study of human societies from a scientific perspective that helps students assert their identity and understand their society by taking into account the standards of quality, understanding and mastery in the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Message

            The mission of the sociology departments in Iraq is to prepare qualified specialists in the field of sociology, social service and anthropology and provide them with the knowledge, skills and modern professional experience of information skills, teamwork, scientific research and communication and employ them in the field of sociology, social service and anthropology, as well as provide a scientific base that achieves a conscious understanding of issues. The society and its problems by offering courses or conducting studies in various social life magazines towards cultural sociology Economic sociology, religious sociology, criminal sociology, human development, social policy, management of social institutions, care of the elderly and people with special needs, anthropology of various kinds, political, medical, urban, anthropology of globalization… .. and other knowledge fields.

The Objectives

1. Supplying the meeting with social workers in the fields of (Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology) in order to contribute to the development process and the advancement of the reality of society.
2. Prepare social researchers to work in state institutions and engage in the labor market and develop methods and skills of scientific research to them by offering training programs for all branches of sociology, which would contribute to the process of building and developing society.
3. Providing sociology departments in all universities in Iraq and in some scientific disciplines related to the various branches of sociology with scientific expertise and specialized teaching competencies.

4- Interacting with Iraqi, Arab and international universities and scientific research centers by using visiting professors, participating or attending scientific conferences, as well as assisting in providing advice and expertise necessary to improve the work of state facilities related to sociology and its various branches to contribute to finding effective solutions to negative social problems or phenomena the society.

5- Keeping up with the requirements of academic accreditation by scientific and international institutions in terms of developing the contents of the courses in the field of social sciences and providing sources of information and laboratories and the promotion of scientific research as well as scientific rehabilitation of students according to the needs of society and the labor market.

6- Contribute to the promotion of cultural awareness among members of the community. By participating in conferences, scientific seminars and seminars held by academic institutions or other state institutions, as well as community organizations that are related to the interests of sociology in its various branches.

7- Cooperation Positive interaction according to a scientific vision considered consistent with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and research centers and studies among all community institutions through training and seminars, conferences and joint events to strengthen scientific ties with them and contribute to the overall development process.

8- Qualifying and preparing graduates to work in the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs, Education, Culture. Health, Interior, Justice, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Youth, Sports, Human Rights, Social Research Centers, Strategy and Folklore, Media Institutions, Civil Society Organizations, and Independent Authorities.
