Translator for a US Army Border Transition Team (BTT), Iraq, June 2006 – August 2008
- Facilitated improvements in the Iraqi Border Patrol (IBP) logistical systems through interpretation during visits to the 3rd Regional Iraqi Border Patrol Headquarters at Badrah – Iraq.
- An essential part of tracking IBP improvements in logistical and operational processes.
- Provided quick translation of documents and spreadsheets from Arabic to English.
Translator and Administrative Assistant within the International Medical Corps (IMC), Iraq, May 2003 – June 2003.
- Coordinated IMC assistance with the General Hospital offices in Wasit Governorate, to organize supplies or provide urgent medical coordination.
- Assisted in coordinating a program that provided nutrition and distribution of supplies to children and pregnant women throughout the Wasit province.
Supervisor in United Nations World Food Program (WFP), Iraq, June 2003 – July 2004
- Assisted in convoy tracking throughout the Baghdad, Babel, Karbala, Najif, and Al Kut. Responsible for updating the convoy location every 30 minutes on a map board.
- Turn up all the Training courses in the communications field whether it’s in Al Kut or in Al Basra or Al Hala to have an intensified extension of our information in this field.
- Organized training and updating situational awareness for all radio operators within the compound and the post.
